PortAventura Hotel Gold River: Theme Park Access Included - Salou

Excellent service, separate entrance to the park, great breakfast and dinner.

The room is well-maintained with nice big beds, the hotel features a pizza bar onsite. Our venue is set in a central location near Port Adventura train station and the park for longer than and the restaurant being so occupied. Restaurante Raco de Mar, where you can eat, is a 10-15 minute walking distance from from here.

The rooms were tastefully decorated and the bathroom was very comfortable. The breakfast was freshly prepared with an omelette station with omelettes cooked to order, so much to pick from. The location in a brilliant area was perfect and magnificent and there were a supermarket and shops nearby.

Geographical situation , good buffet, clean, staff is friendly.

Everything was fine.

It was very close to the Park which was the only reason we stayed there.

I felt this was not a four star hotel, at best it was three star. the dining experience in particular was more like an institution that a Four Star Hotel The furnishing in the bedroom was also very basic ie. one locker between 4 people. My children however were delighted with the experience and that was shy we stayed.

Location is excellent.

Breakfast is not very good.

Direct access to PortAventura Park was convenient for our family.

The overcrowded breakfast slots made dining very stressful, especially with a special needs child.

The location to the park was nice as you are next to the Far West within Port Aventura. The resort was beautifuly decorated as a old far west town and there are many nice places, the swiming pools were nice. The hotel entrance was quite tasteful. The Opera restaurant and particularly a waitresse, was really lovely and gave an excellent service within the resort. The little shop facility is nice, and the large cafeteria has good varied food. The rooms were pretty although small.

I found that the reception was very disorganised and slow, we waited there for a long time and there were only few people working there to cater at peak hours. At entry time. I walked in on the cleaner and found our bed pillows had been thrown on the floor while she was making our beds. Which I was quite disgusted to see. The rooms had no soap and you had to keep asking for supplies. The room was tiny and the wardrobe had no spece for a family for a 4 star hotel there could be more details and for the price too. The staff at the Bar lounge late in the evening were quite unfriendly and quite rushed in their service.

Tastefully decorated, great value for money rooms with a shower and two sinks. Free parking on-site provided. Very hardworking staff during my stay.

The lively kids' mini disco was a hit with my children, and the themed decor made it feel special. However, the long waits for breakfast slots were quite stressful, especially with our special needs child.

It is located next to the Far West entrance.The food was quite good.The rooms were spacious and modern.As a hotel guest you have free access to the Beach Club which can be reached by taking the free bus outside the hotel.It is a fantastic place with 7 pools and a wonderful beach view.There is a cafeteria, lockers, shop and towels to be hired free of charge.Not to be missed....

You have to queue for breakfast as it is very busy.You are given a card with a specific time but no one is following this system.The dining room is extremelly noisy.I had to wait for more than half an hour to do the check out so I would advise to do it very early in the morning if one is in a hurry.The problem is that each person takes a minimum of 15mn to check in and there are no separate queues for check-in and check out.

I like the style of the hotel, the proximity of the park and aquapark. This is a decent place for families with children.

I didn't like the lack of hotel beach, as well as the inability to reach him or Salow fat directly from the hotel by other means than a taxi.
